Evaluation Framework

Four-Lens Review

1. Mechanism Lens

  • Is the biological mechanism described clearly?
  • Is language specific enough to avoid hand-waving?

2. Evidence Lens

  • What evidence tier supports the claim?
  • What is established vs early vs unresolved?

3. Boundary Lens

  • Where does the approach break down?
  • What contraindications or uncertainty zones matter?

4. Decision Lens

  • How does this compare to standard/surgical pathways?
  • What is the escalation path if conservative options fail?

Output Standard

Every public explainer should leave the reader with:

  1. A clearer problem frame.
  2. Better questions to ask clinicians.
  3. Fewer assumptions presented as certainty.
